UK hosting and domains name registration service provider 123-Reg has been struck by a weekend Total Inability To Support Usual Performance that knocked an unspecified number of VPS (virtual private server) customers offline.
In what is being considered a mass deletion spree, an unspecified number of virtual private server (VPS) web hosting clients have realized their websites have faded from existence as if they never were to begin with.
The company stated:
“This morning, our teams were made aware of issues affecting the performance of our VPS product. Our teams are continuing to investigate which has led to some customers experiencing denigrated service levels.”
We are investigating the restoration of each VPS on a case-by-case basis and are working individually with customers to keep them informed of the website recovery process. We are working as quickly as we can to restore service to normal.”
